The lemon juice treatment can also be enhanced by mixing it with coconut oil. Coconut oil can also be applied on the itchy areas. Other ingredients that are also effective in combating itchiness are cod liver oil, Vitamin E oil, wheat germ oil and even aloe vera gel or juice for effective results.
These products can also be mixed and applied. If none of these things are handy and you have to act fast, you can even make do with hot water by running it over the affected area. Besides these remedies, you ought to take additional measures such as avoiding scratching the affected area with your nails or any other sharp object.
