Fatty acids in salmon provide anti inflammatory effect so it would be better to include salmon in at least one of your daily meals. About thirty per cent of the body’s calories are obtained from fat so include Low fat dairy products in your diet.

Protein in the form of lean meat, poultry and soy should provide about fifteen per cent of calories. About four to six ounces of animal foods, in the form of fish, poultry and meat is useful. Egg provides good quality protein. Foods that are recommended in moderation are wheat bran, oatmeal, wheat germ, pork, beef, seafood and lentils. Drink about two to three liters of water to dilute the uric acid, from your system, thereby expelling the same. Maintain a healthy bodyweight, as obesity is a common problem encountered by those with high uric acid. Obesity, in turn increases the uric acid production by the body.
