Stomach Pain Treatment With Healthy Diet
Stomach pain is a common ailment, and the phrase is usually referred to abdominal pain rather than actual stomach pain – it can occur in any area of the abdomen, between the chest and the groin. These aches differ in degrees; some are mild while the others are severe and they may also be acute or chronic. Stomach pain can be a result of any ailment of the organs between the chest and the groin. Most common causes of stomach pain include gas and indigestion, food poisoning, chronic constipation, ulcers or colitis, appendicitis, kidney stones, urinary tract infection, gallbladder inflammation, abdominal worms, liver diseases, pre menstrual syndrome, and hernia. One must consult a doctor if the pain lasts more than two to three days, as leaving ailments like appendicitis, kidney stones, UTI, and so on untreated can affect the vital organs and prove to be life threatening.
A healthy diet keeps most ailments away. One must consume as many organic foods as possible, like green leafy vegetables, fruits, raw vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and nuts and seeds. All processed or canned food, junk food, oily and fried stuffs, spicy food, and excessive caffeine (coffee, pastries, and chocolates) and alcoholic beverages result in indigestion and many other ailments. One must also eat small meals about five times a day instead of three heavy meals. Eating very fast, after long gaps, and too late at night all cause problems like acidity and indigestion leading to a stomach ache. It’s helpful to take a stroll after eating, and one must also not go to bed for at least two hours after eating. Drinking coconut water and buttermilk everyday is also considered to be helpful to the digestive system.
