Get Rid Of Zits Fast And Effectively With Zits Home Remedies

Zit is another name for skin problems like acne, pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. These skin problems are basically caused by excessive oiliness of the skin, hormonal imbalances, lack of cleanliness, and a faulty diet. When the sebaceous glands in the skin produce excessive sebum (a natural oil protective oil), the hair follicles and skin pores tend to get blocked by this oil, bacteria, and dead skin. These blockages cause sebum to build up under the skin, and eventually give rise to inflammation of the skin. Depending upon how exactly the blockages proceed to develop, they may be called zits, pimples, blackheads or white heads.

Zits And Pimples Effective Home Remedies

It is very important to keep one’s skin free from oil and dirt in order to avoid zits and pimples. Regular washing of your face is very important for this reason. However, washing your face more than necessary, especially if you use a harsh soap will eventually cause your sebaceous glands to produce more oil in order to combat the resulting dryness. This will of course make your skin oilier, thus exacerbating the problem.

It is therefore better to wash your skin with plain water, or at the most with a mild or moisturizing soap. One must also avoid consuming fried and oily foods, and junk food, and consume more of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Drinking about three liters of water everyday is also beneficial for clearing zits and other skin problems.

There are many home remedies also that will help you clear up zits. Orange and lemon are especially beneficial here – take orange peels and make a paste with water. Clean your face with water and face wash, and then apply this paste with your fingertips in circular motion. Let it stay for 20 minutes before washing it off again. Simply applying fresh lemon juice or rubbing lemon on your face everyday also gets rid of zits and also blemishes caused by acne and pimples.

You can also mix lemon juice and rosewater in equal amounts and treat the zits with this solution. You can also make a mixture of honey, sandalwood, and olive oil and apply it on the face, let it stay for 20 minutes, and then wash it off. Make a mix of one teaspoon of either coriander juice or mint juice, and a pinch of turmeric powder, wash your face thoroughly, and apply it before going to bed. Following these remedies regularly will get rid of the zits.
