To prevent acidity and other stomach problems like belching, bloating and flatulence correct your meal timings. Eat 4-5 small meals in a day instead of 2 large meals. Avoid sleeping or lying down immediately after your meals. Keep a minimum gap of at least 2-3 hours between your meal times and sleeping time. If you have a habit of drinking tea or coffee, make sure that you have some other cereal along with it. For instance instead of just a cup of coffee in your breakfast, eat a whole wheat cracker or a whole wheat toast along with your coffee to prevent acidity.
