Which healthy fruits should be taken after dinner?

Many people are used to eating fruits after dinner. They believe that it can help stomach peristalsis. This, in fact, is not very scientific. Fruits must be consumed only on an empty stomach. If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role in detoxifying your system.

It will supply you with a great deal of energy and will also help you lose weight. If you have two slices of bread and some fruit, the fruit is ready to go to the intestines straight through the stomach. But this does not happen. The entire meal begins to ferment and turns into acid. As soon as the fruit comes in contact with the food and the digestive juices of the stomach, the entire food mass begins to spoil.

Hence one must eat fruits only on an empty stomach or before meals. People often complain that every time they eat a juicy fruit such as a watermelon, they burp, or when they eat a banana, they feel like running to the toilet. All of these problems will not arise if they eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying mass in the stomach and produces gas which causes you to bloat. There are no acidic fruits. All fruits become alkaline once they enter our body. When it comes to fruit juice, you must drink only fresh fruit juice and not the canned substitute. Canned juice is not the same thing and has preservatives and at times, artificial flavours. Some people eat cooked fruits. This does not help because cooking a fruit gets rid of all the nutrients. What you get it only taste. Cooking destroys all vitamins in fruits.

Consuming a whole fruit is way better than drinking juice. But if you should drink juice, do so by drinking it mouthful by mouthful. You must let the juice mix with your saliva before you go ahead and swallow it. There is one very interesting thing you can try to cleanse your body. You can go on a 3-day strictly fruit diet for a body cleanse. Eat only fruits and drink only fruit juice for 3 days and the changes will be evident.
The best time for eating fruits:
  • Afternoon, 3 to 4 hours after lunch
  • Before the bedtime, 3 to 4 hours after dinner.

Benefits of fruits

Weight loss with fruits is one of the most important and effective ways which is natural & has no side effects. Eating at least 5 to 6 helpings of fruits is very effective for weight control & weight loss. So it is advisable to include one fruit in daily diet.
