Information on Healthy Diet Menu
Eating healthy and nutritious foods is the need of the day. With modernization, advent of junk foods and fast foods, it has become very difficult to consume healthy foods as a result of which people have started suffering from various disorders at a very young age. Hence it is very essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
While planning the menu, it is necessary that all nutrients needs to be incorporated in proper amounts. Introduce variety of foods so that boredom doesn’t set in while consuming foods. Prefer natural foods over processed foods or refined foods. Hence avoid pastries, candies, cakes, refined flour and refined sugar.
Frequent meals are beneficial. Avoid skipping of meals or overeating the meals. Sample menus that can be given in a day are:
BREAKFAST
White egg omelets with vegetables and toasted brown bread. Fermented rice pancakes and pulse preparation. Muesli, porridge made out of finger millet or oats with pieces of fruits added.
LUNCH
Wheat pancakes with curried vegetables and raw salads and yoghurt. Salads with lime and olive oil.
DINNER
Minestrone soup with garlic bread. Grilled fish with brown rice Wheat pancakes with vegetable preparation and pulse preparation, rice and yoghurt.
SNACKS A fruit, raw salad, fruit juice, sprouted salads, digestive biscuits.
