Natural Treatment for Wrinkles

Wrinkles are generally visible lines on the face that can affect the appearance of the individual. Wrinkles are delicate lines observed generally on the face, neck and hands causing thin sagging skin. Wrinkles occur when the collagen and elastin content is reduced or weakened .The skin becomes thin, inelastic, loses fat content and smoothness. The entire charm of the face is reduced due to the presence of wrinkles.

The symptoms of wrinkles are thin and creased skin, sagging skin. The area that is affected is eyes, lips and nose. Wrinkles occur due to the ageing process. Apart from this there are causes of wrinkle development especially premature wrinkle development:

  • Over exposure to sun: Ultraviolet rays can damage the skin and can cause photo ageing.
  • Smoking: Excessive smoking leads to formation of free radicals that can damage the skin.
  • Pollution: Everyday exposure to pollution, chemicals, dust can affect the skin.
  • Lack of Vitamin E: Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It can prevent the formation of free radicals that can be damaging to the skin. Lack of Vitamin E can cause wrinkles.
  • Weight loss: Weight loss leads to reduction in the fat content which tend to have cushioning effect .Thus the skin tend to sag and creases are formed.

    Prevention of formation of wrinkles can be done which is as follows:

    • Balanced diet provides all the nutrients properly in correct amounts. Consume ample amount of fruits, vegetables and cereals that can help in toning up in the body. Drink good amount of water that can tighten the skin and make it smooth.
    • Prepare a juice of green pineapple and apple juice on the face for 10 to 15 minutes. This can improve the skin health.
    • Make a paste of turmeric powder and sugar cane juice. Apply it on the affected area.
    • Apply pure castor oil regularly on the face. This can make the skin soft and supple.
    • Rub the core of the pineapple on the face. This can reduce the wrinkle formation.
    • Apply egg whites on the skin especially in the areas that are prone to wrinkles.
    • Apply moisturizer regularly before going to bed. This can make the skin soft and smooth.
    • Apply good quality sunscreen lotions before going out in the sun.
    • Always keep smiling, avoid frowning or squinting so that the face is attractive and wrinkle free.

     

    Thus premature formation of wrinkles can be prevented by using simple techniques that are easy and convenient to use
