Weight Strength Training

Strength training or weight training or weight strength training are the terms used interchangeably for weight training. Weight strength training has number of benefits which helps a person to lose weight and be physically strong. Strength training helps to build the lean muscle tissue that is more metabolically active than fat. When you increase muscle mass your rate of metabolism is also increased and thus you burn more calories in the whole day. Regular strength training not only makes your bones stronger but also gives you strength to carry out different daily activities like carrying groceries, carrying kids, gardening, and other household chores.

It also reduces the risk of getting an injury as any strength training not only builds the muscles and makes the bones stronger but also makes the connective tissue, ligaments and tendons stronger. Recent studies show that regular strength training can help decrease the pain related to arthritis as the strong muscles act as a cushion and protects the joints during walking. Strength training also helps to increase the flexibility, stability and balance. Strength training helps lower blood pressure over a period of time when done on regular basis. It makes your life more interesting and challenging and change the way you are from within and externally too by building up your self confidence and making you look slim and fit. This weight strength training can have multiple benefits when done on regular basis besides losing weight.
