A gnawing and unbearable pain or discomfort in the abdominal region is termed peptic ulcer. Fried foods, stimulants such as hot tea or coffee are avoided. Refined foods, such as noodles, bread and pasta, fresh and frozen vegetables and fruits, fruit juices and gelatin are recommended.
