 Because of the fact that we lead such hectic and fast paced lives, it is not uncommon for a number of people to rely rather heavily on the convenience of fast food rather than taking the time to prepare a nutritious meal. The lack of time means we gorge regularly on hot dogs and burgers that, while being very tasty, lack any of the nutrients, minerals and vitamins that are required to ensure proper body function. Instead, they are simply crammed with a lot of empty nutrients that serve no purpose other than being converted into fat cells and stored in the fatty tissue of the body. Because we tend to take out nutrition so lightly, the children than look up to us do the same as well. It is no wonder then that the world seems to be suffering from the condition that is obesity.
