Juice for constipation:

Constipation is a condition where an individual is unable to pass motions even if there is a desire to do so. The human digestive system breaks down food in the stomach and absorbs it in the intestines. Waste food collects during the process and is passed out of the body in the form of fecal matter. This semi solid waste usually contains roughage which helps it move smoothly through the digestive system. Constipation occurs when the fecal matter does not exit the body. This can be due to a blockage in the system or due to an improper constitution of the waste matter.

A person who is dehydrated may suffer from constipation because the fecal matter is too dry and is therefore unable to move smoothly through the digestive system. A lack of roughage in the diet will cause similar problems, although in this case, it is usually a problem of sticking fecal matter rather than dry matter.

Constipation is usually uncomfortable for the individual. In cases where it lasts for more than a couple of days, it can cause severe health complications for the individual. Fecal matter tends to ferment and as it does so, it can release toxins into the body. It can also cause a complete breakdown of the digestive process leaving the individual with little nutrition. Constipation must therefore be sorted out quickly so that it does not hinder the digestive process.

Aloe vera is a plant which is often used in medicinal applications. Its juice can be used for constipation relief. Pregnant women must not use aloe vera juice for constipation. Aloe vera juice is a mixture of aloe vera gel and some other juice. This gel must be naturally extracted and must not contain any additives. Aloe vera produces a laxative like reaction and therefore it may be useful to use aloe vera juice for constipation.

Another useful juice is pear juice. Pears, like many other fruits, contain natural fiber which is helpful in the digestive process. Pears also contain many vitamins and minerals which are useful in the body for various body processes. Pear juice is sometimes mixed with apple juice as the juice of apples is very fluid making it easy to drink. Using pear juice for constipation can provide quick results. It is best to consume pear juice for constipation at night before sleeping. The effects should be felt in the morning.
