Ginger Nutritional Benefits

‘Zingiber officinale’ is the botanical name of ginger. It has been derived from the Sanskrit word ‘singabera’ that means horn shaped in the language. A medicinal plant that is used to spice up food and in herbal concoctions to cure ailments, ginger is often known as the King of Spices in India, a country that believes in the power of Ayurveda.

Studies have shown that ginger has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and also has anti-tumor effect on cells.
