cookie diet recipe

One of the latest fads in the weight watchers’ world is the “cookie diet”. The name on its own sounds contradictory, because cookies as often regarded as being high in sugar and calories and therefore should be strictly avoided, if you are trying to lose weight. Most people state that the phrase “cookie diet” conjures up images eating delicious cookies and still dropping pounds. However, that is not necessarily the case. There are several cookie diets that have been used with varying degrees of success, for the last few years.

These basic plans of these cookie diets were to consume a few low cal cookies throughout the day, in lieu of regular food and to eat a sensible dinner, in the evening. However these low calorie cookie diet recipes were not easily available, while buying the cookies, could turn out very expensive. Therefore, such a diet plan could cost around $ 10 each day. In case you follow such a diet for 2 months, you could easily pay anywhere between $ 500 and $ 600, for the plan.

However, recently a doctor came up with the theory that most people are overweight because of thyroid problems that are undiagnosed. His team of dieticians suggested a three-week crash diet, in which you can consume only 800 calories per day. This is more like a test to see if you lose the right amount of weight. If not, then it is probably an indication of a thyroid problem. This doctor has also suggested a new cookie diet. It is believed that the cookie diet recipe used in this diet can boost your thyroid function and can help you in your weight loss attempts. Ironically, the cookie diet recipe used in this diet plan is high in sugar, fat and starch, which is meant to satiate your appetite, but limit your intake of calories.
