Naturally Rejuvenation Skin

Our skin is the most largest and visible organ of the body. The tone of our skin gets affected by sun rays, age and climate. With age, the collagen and elastin tissues become weak and the skin becomes thin and less elastic. Hence it is essential to enhance the tone and firmness of the skin. This will thus help us in making us look young and attractive.

Our appearance is greatly affected by our skin. With beautiful skin, we feel a high self esteem. We have an urge to look young and beautiful. Thus rejuvenation is done of the skin to correct the damaged blood vessels, to look young, to treat sun spots, tighten loose skin, and reduce wrinkles and to improve the skin tone and color. Many men and women undergo rejuvenation every year. As the face is that part that is visible and affects appearance, facial skin rejuvenation is carried out frequently.

Improvements in technology have helped the dermatologists to achieve effective and good results. The procedures carried out are safe and effective allowing the person to heal quickly. Factors influence the method of rejuvenation of skin. Our age, health and amount of sun damage will decide the type of technique that needs to be done. Our skin type will decide the combination of treatments that needs to be carried out on the skin. Some times more than one method may be employed for better results.

Rejuvenation procedures are as follows:

  • Topical products: Many prescribed and no prescribed products are applied topically. This is used to treat milder forms of aging. This can be combined with other treatments for effective results.
  • Fillers and Botulinium rejuvenation: Soft tissue fillers are used to plump hollows on the face, to reduce wrinkles and increase the smoothness of the skin. This treatment is used on specific parts like the lip or mouth. It is filled with collagen or fat that is removed from another body part, hyaluronic acid.
  • Chemical peels: Chemical peels involve application of chemical solution on the outer layers of skin which will lead to its peeling. The new skin formed is smooth, less wrinkled, more color. This is used for improving the smoothness of the skin, treat skin discoloration and age spots.
  • Laser resurfacing: Laser resurfacing is done to treat wrinkles, blemishes and tightening the sagging skin. The newer method of rejuvenation is fractional rejuvenation. It is used to treat the damaged spots leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

The side effects from rejuvenation are bruises, swelling, scarring and minor discomfort. Hence proper consultation from the dermatologists is necessary to undergo safer procedures.
