Abs Diet for body building

The Abs diet is a diet designed by the editor of a magazine, which includes lifestyle change. It recommends twelve ‘power foods'. Six small meals are taken per day. A minimum of three power foods are seen in the breakfast, lunch and dinner. It fails to focus on the abdominal muscles. An uncontrolled meal of the individual's choice is recommended, once a week. The twelve power foods comprise of almonds and nuts, beans and legumes, spinach and other vegetables, oatmeal, low fat dairy products, eggs, olive oil, lean meat or turkey, peanut butter, raspberries and others, whey powder and whole grains. Steak, fish and chicken are also taken.

The fat is limited to three tablespoons of peanut butter per day. Greasy foods, vegetable oil, soda, butter, foods with high fructose corn syrup, sugary foods and beverages and finger foods, such as French fries, burgers, chicken wings and pizzas are the foods to be avoided. Lamb, macaroni, honey, ice cream, rice, sauerkraut, chocolate, coffee, pudding and ham are considered in an occasional manner. The power foods are taken for a week. Cardio exercise and weights are helpful, alongside, as it helps in building strength. The metabolism is increased, thereby increasing the burning of fat. Take the guidance of your nutritionist, before opting for any diet plans.
