Wheat Grass Preparation Advice

Wheat grass grows in the temperate weather and is a part of vegan diets. It is more preferred by individuals, who are particular about their health. It is a complete protein, comprising of about 30 enzymes. It is free of gluten and is referred for individuals with gluten intolerance. The pulp of the wheat grass is used to prepare wheat grass juice. The plant is a rich source of cellulose. The fresh leaf buds of the wheat grass plant is dried and made into a powder. Wheat grass is a good source of sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron. Vitamins E, K, A and B are also seen.

Seventeen amino acids and eight live enzymes are present. Most of the nutrients are lost, immediately after juicing. Maximum benefits are obtained by growing them in the kitchen garden. The high temperature used in powdering or processing the juice reveals a poor nutrient assay. The seeds are easily obtained and planted. Wheat grass juice is topically used on the scalp to enhance the sheen of the hair. It is also used as a skin toner, soothing sunburn, relieve sinus, treatment for burns and sores and for washing the eyes.
