Question on carcinogens: what are carcinogens

Carcinogens are those that result in cancer. They are cancer-causing substances. Excessive exposure to chemicals like nickel and chromium fumes result in lung cancer. Benzene exposure causes blood cancer or leukemia. Liver cancer is caused by vinyl chloride.
