Remedies to Control Nausea and Fever 

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver due to infection. This is contributed by immunity disorder, ingestion of toxins, alcohol intake and certain medications. Nausea and vomiting is controlled by medications. Home remedies are not recommended, especially due to infection and other complications. In case of dehydration, intravenous fluids are recommended.


Mode of transfer of infection happens through infection from stools, consumption of improperly cooked animal foods and blood transfusions.

Personal hygiene and cleanliness are vital. A healthy and balanced diet is preferred. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Fatty foods are also abstained from, as they are difficult to digest. Washing the hands after using the toilet is helpful to prevent infection. Meals are planned, based on the bouts of nausea. Mild fever is associative of many conditions, such as cholera, typhoid fever and hepatitis. Freshly cooked foods are preferred. Fruits and vegetables that are not peeled are abstained from. Fresh lime juice thrice a day or smelling of fresh lime is effective against nausea. Boiled water and commercially available bottled water are also preferred. Visit your physician, if nausea and fever persists.
