Diabetes Diet Nutrition 

There is no term as Diabetes Diet Nutrition. If Diabetes diet nutrition is explained, then it means considering the nutritional aspect of the diet planned for diabetics. This deals with importance of certain foods in the management of the disease. Why are specific foods selected for the diabetics, what are the benefits of such foods and how does it act in managing the blood sugar level.

Certain foods that are recommended for diabetics are:

Legumes, oats, fruits and vegetables: These foods contain soluble fiber that is capable of inhibiting glucose absorption from the intestine. It doesn't contribute to cholesterol to the body.

Whole grain cereals, fibre containing breakfast cereals: These foods contain vitamins and minerals and fiber.

Fruits like guava, papaya, pomegranate and apple: These fruits are preferable than banana, mango and custard apple as they have low glycemic index and are rich in antioxidants.

Fenugreek seeds: This condiment is beneficial as it can improve the glucose utilization and can reduce blood and urinary sugar.
