A simple diet which can help you cleanse or detoxify your liver can be followed as under:
  • Immediately after waking up in the morning you can have a glass of warm water mixed with juice from ½ a lemon.
  • For breakfast you can have a smoothie prepared from rice protein powder, rice milk and pear.
  • For a mid morning snack you can have celery sticks, hummus, diluted apple juice, vegetable broth and plenty of water.
  • Lunch can comprise of vegetable soup, brown rice along with steamed broccoli, sesame seeds and beet root with sprinkled lemon juice.
  • Carrot sticks with or without a fat free dip and water can be had for a mid meal snack.
  • Dinner can include lentil curry, vegetable broth and a salad of artichokes, red peppers, sprouts and mixed greens.
  • Just before bedtime, you can have a glass of water with a spoonful of ground flaxseeds.
