Some of the symptoms of gonorrhea include burning and swelling of the rectum, pain while urination, blood in the semen and urine, abdominal pain, fever, rashes near the genital area and many more. Cures for Gonorrhea
It is believed that the symptoms of gonorrhea appear at least two weeks after you have been infected with the disease. It is recommended to visit a doctor or a gynecologist as soon as you experience any of the above mentioned symptoms. The doctor will take a sample of your urine and send it to a laboratory for testing. After the results show positivity, various treatments for gonorrhea will begin. Antibiotics are one of the gonorrhea cures. The doctor will prescribe the effective antibiotics which will help eliminate the bacterium. The doctor may also give you an injection that will eliminate the bacterium causing the disease. Sometimes one dose of pills or one injection is more than enough to eliminate the disease.



Sometimes it may take days or even weeks. There is no specific diet to treat gonorrhea; it is advisable to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

First and foremost, any kind of sexual activity should be forbidden when suffering from gonorrhea. After you have been treated, it is advisable to abstain from sexual intercourse for at least two to three weeks as you may be low on immunity. It is important to get rid of this disease as soon as possible as it might lead to HIV which may cause AIDS at a later stage. Use a contraceptive in order to be safe from this disease and to also avoid unwanted pregnancy.
