Good Weight For HeightIn today’s world, people neither want to be thin nor overweight; everyone wants to have the perfect figure or physique. At one time, people, especially women, wanted to look thin; however, that trend has now changed a bit, as most people have realized that being in proportion is a healthier option and at the same time, they look much more attractive. Unfortunately, in spite of the fact that the awareness of health and fitness is growing amongst people, not many of us are aware of what our weight really should be. We mainly take a look at ourselves in the mirror and try to lose, or gain weight, based on how we feel we look. This is because most charts and calculators have generalized information, which should be used more as a guideline, instead of a ground rule. Therefore, if a person is really wondering “am I the right weight for my age and height”, it is best for him or her to consult a dietician or a fitness instructor, who will assess factors such as gender, height, weight, body type and so on. |
