Sports person What constitute a sports person? Talent comprises only eighty percent of being successful as a sports person. It takes a lot to be a good competitor. It takes a lot of passion and dedication like no other; sport becomes priority.
Being in contention, a sports person has some rules to follow. In his passion and dedication, the sports person finds it necessary to improve his performance. Some sports persons think that taking drugs known as sports supplements could improve their performance without so much hard work.
Sports supplements (also called ergogenic aids) are products used to enhance athletic performance. These would include vitamins, (synthetic manmade) drugs, and hormones, most of which are available even without prescription from a qualified doctor. But the question remains, are they safe? Most sports supplements have not been tested on teens. But studies on adult shows that the claims of many sports supplements are weak at best. Still for a better game concentrate on nutrition and follow a serious exercise program for better conditioning.
Sports supplements can have lasting effects on the brain and body. The use of sports supplements often compromises judgment and physical abilities and makes a person unable to perform in athletics. Further more the use of sports supplements directly reduces physical and intellectual performance in your field of expertise.
Sports were designed to be a fun and competitive way to gain exercise. They were not designed to include sports supplements.
Other factors that should also be considered into your abilities as an athlete, includes your diet, the kind of food you eat, the sports drink you imbibe. It’s your diet fitness that’s being considered here. Chow down on good eats and avoid harmful substances. Drinking, smoking or doing drugs are always bad acts to follow. Make your act simple. As sports person, or as an athlete, entails a lot of responsibilities like, being disciplined. Don’t expect results overnight, but improving your capability and endurance with hard work will be a lot safer for your body in the long run.
A sports person is highly motivated. To stay motivated would mean to reach your goals. That’s why when a sports person goes on diet fitness, he or she should not lose weight then gain it back again. The sports person/athlete stays motivated. Keep in mind that exercise and the right sports drink can help you feel and look better.
