Foods that promote good health are good for your figure.
  1. Fruits are low in calories and fat, and high in fiber, they reduce appetite and take longer time for consumption and are good for bowel health.



    They contain potassium and vitamin C also.
  2. Fish is low in saturated fats and calories.



    Omega-3-fatty acids present in fish oils helps to lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels.



    Eat fish 2-3 times a week for a healthy heart and slim body.
  3. Cereal grain, especially oats and bran provide water-soluble fiber that helps to lower both cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It also promotes good bowel health.
  4. Fowl – Lean meat of turkey and chicken is high in protein, low in fat and calories, it promotes good health and a slim figure. But remove all skin before cooking or eating it.
  5. Onions, garlic and pepper help to lower blood fat level.



    These foods help in thinning your blood, reduces your appetite and maintain a good figure.
  6. Vegetables belonging to cabbage family are especially good for health. They are low in calories and contain no fat and are great foods for weight loss and maintenance.
