It is common for women to get kidney stones when they are pregnant. Diet For Kidney Stone Patients

A kidney patient should avoid all those foods that are harmful for the kidneys. Acidity must also be put under control. Intake of fluid should be increased to help the flow of urine. Kidney stone patients should avoid foods such as alcohol, cucumber, tomato, spinach, asparagus, cabbage, onions, and beans.

Calcium phosphate stones can be controlled by limiting the intake of calcium and phosphate. Foods such as peas, soybean, spinach, and carrots should be avoided. Patients suffering from kidney stones should consume a low-protein diet, while maximizing the intake of water in the body.
