I am about to start the GM diet and would like to know if I can eat wonder soup from day 1 to day 7?

The wonder soup can be consumed on any day, but it is generally recommended that consumption of this soup should commence from the fourth day. The GM diet or the General Motors Diet is a weight loss diet, which helps in a loss of about ten to seventeen pounds in a week. The main principle behind this diet is the fact that many of the foods allowed by this diet are considered to be negative calorie foods, thereby burning more calories, than they contribute.

The diet has a cleansing effect, which aids in flushing off the impurities from the system. It also improves the energy levels of the individual. The first day of the seven day plan is filled with fruits of all kinds. A lot of melons are recommended on the first day, such as cantaloupe and water melon. Bananas are not recommended. The possibility of losing three pounds on the first day is possible. The second day is the ‘All veggie day’. Eat plenty of vegetables either in the cooked or raw form. Include a baked potato with a pat of butter for breakfast. This provides your body with some amount of complex carbohydrates. There is no restriction on the type of vegetable or the quantity of consumption.

Weight Loss Diet With GM Diet Program

A mixture of vegetables and fruits are allowed on the third day. Potatoes and bananas are not allowed. The quantity and type is of vegetables or fruits is immaterial. On the fourth day, your diet should consist mainly of milk and bananas. About eight bananas and three glasses of milk are recommended. Bananas provide with sodium and potassium to the system. From the fourth day onwards, you can include the GM wonder soup in your diet. Tomatoes and beef comprise the fifth day of the diet plan and you can have about ten ounces of meat twice a day along with six tomatoes. Beef provides the body with the necessary proteins while tomatoes provide fiber and aid digestion.

Day six comprises of vegetables and beef. The last day comprises of brown rice, vegetables and fruit juices. Increase your intake of water from the fifth day, as it helps in the elimination of uric acid from the system. Alcohol is a complete ‘no-no’, during the program. GM wonder soup is made with green pepper, onion, cabbage, tomatoes, celery, herbs and flavoring.

Vegetables can be eaten in their raw form as salads. White vinegar, garlic, herbs, malt and lemon juice are options for salad dressing. Dry beans, such as kidney, lima and pinto beans should be avoided. Beverages that are allowed during the diet plan are black coffee, club soda, herbal tea, flavored water and black tea. The plan doe not involve any kind of modifications.
