Crostini Recipe Ingredients:

8 slices baguette
½ small pears, cored halved and sliced very thinly
1 tablespoon honey, flavored
2 ounce Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
Chives

Method:

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Arrange the bread slices on a large ungreased baking sheet.
  3. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until they are lightly toasted, four inches away from heat. Turn them once for even toasting.
  4. Place the halved pear slices over the bread slices and lightly drizzle them with honey. Top the pear layer with cheese and chives. Honey pear and gorgonzola crostini is ready to serve. This recipe makes 8 appetizers.
