Ginger Drink With Pineapple Punch
Pineapple Drink Ingredients:
2 cups fresh unsweetened pineapple juice
½ tablespoon crystallized ginger
1 cup carbonated water
6 ice cubes
Pineapple for garnish
Method:
- Combine crystallized ginger and unsweetened pineapple juice in a pitcher. Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours. You may chill the mixture for up to 24 hours, for convenience you may also prepare this mixture a day before to save time.
- Remove the chilled pitcher from the refrigerator and strain the mixture. Discard any remaining ginger in the strainer.
- Put 2 ice cubes each in 3 tall glasses. Pour pineapple juice in the glasses over the ice just before serving. Fill only ¾ of the glass with juice. Add carbonated water to fill the remaining glass and serve immediately. Skewer fresh pineapple and place in the glass before serving. This recipe makes 3 tall glasses of ginger pineapple spritzer.
