Avocado Nutrients And Salad Recipes
Avacado Recipe Ingredients:
1 pitted avocado, ripe
8 cups mixed greens, torn lettuce or spinach
2 grapefruit
2 tablespoon avocado oil (if avocado oil is not readily available you may use same amount of olive oil)
2 tablespoon raspberry vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/8 teaspoon salt
Method:
- Peel and slice the avocado. Also peel the grapefruit and section it.
- Arrange the mixed salad greens either on a large serving platter or on 6 different individual serving plates, as per your choice of serving. Place grape fruit and avocado slices over the salad greens evenly. Whisk together avocado oil, raspberry vinegar, sugar, water and salt in a bowl to prepare the dressing. Drizzle this dressing evenly all over the salad mixture and serve. This recipe makes 6 servings.

The fat quality in this recipe can be considered healthy as avocado oil or olive oil provides good monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
