Quick And Effective Home Remedies For Pimples And Acne

Pimples are a problem that generally occurs on facial skin. However, in some cases, pimples may also appear on the back and chest as well. It is a problem that occurs as part of the slew of troubles in acne vulgaris during puberty. The condition is not very serious but pimples can leave a person with permanent scarring if very severe. This problem can be prevented to a large extent and it is in prevention that most of the scarring can be avoided. There are two parts to the treatment – keeping the skin clean and free of debris and keeping bacterial infections at bay.

Best Home Remedies For Acne Treatment

Bacteria on the skin are a normal occurrence and don’t really pose any problems; however, during a case of acne, they can cause a blockage to the sebaceous glands and suddenly proliferate in the pooling of sebum. With this proliferation, they can infiltrate lower layers of skin feeding on skin cells as they go further down. When cells of any kind in the body are damaged by pathogens, they send out chemical signals to the immune system called cytokines. The first group of white blood cells that reach the spot are the neutrophil cells.

These also release cytokines and further call on other white blood cells like T-cells. If the infection is prolific, then the response of the immune system will be greater which generally results in severe inflammation.  This is where things start to go wrong. An immense immune system response will cause the destruction of tissue as T-cells clear away large swathes of infected and damaged cells under the skin. When the infection is finally over, the supporting tissue under the skin is lost and the skin collapses down on itself causing a crater like scar.

If this does not happen then a pustule could rise to the surface of the skin causing a pimple. This formation is a collection of bacteria and white blood cells – giving it its color. This will resolve by itself and disappear without major scarring.

Dealing with pimples requires that you wash your face with a face wash that contains salicylic acid. This is preventative by clearing out skin debris and curative by removing layers of skin over pimples thus making resolution easier; it is also an antiseptic. Wash your face with a medicated face wash to ensure that acne infections are kept at bay. It is also important that you use a warm compress over any itching, raised, and inflamed skin to try and bring the pimple to a head.
