Another useful remedy for reducing the intensity of foot pain is to stand about two feet away from a wall, pressing against the wall with your palms and then bending forwards from the waist. Repeat this process 5-10 times. This helps strengthen the calf muscles and makes the foot pain less intense. In addition, a few precautionary measures may also help prevent foot pain. Always wear shoes that have sufficient space for movement of the feet and that support the base of the feet firmly without hurting them. You may also opt for shoes with inbuilt support arches specially made for those who have a faulty foot structure.

Also, eat a diet that is rich in minerals like calcium and magnesium as these help keep the bones strong and reduce the chances of foot pain. Eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables, fish, lean meats, eggs, milk and dairy products in order to defend yourself naturally against foot pain.
