Beauty Home Remedies

You don’t have to spend a fortune on beauty products to look good. While the shelves at cosmetic shops are loaded with expensive creams, lotions, face packs, lip sticks, and other make-up and beauty products, you can make some at home with traditional recipes. From face packs to soaps to creams, you can make a whole lot of products with raw natural products that you can buy from grocery stores and pharmacy stores.

Protein shampoo: For this shampoo you need egg white, water, gelatin, ammonia, cologne, and rubbing alcohol. Beat the egg white till it becomes frothy. Then soften a pack of gelatin in warm water and pour this into the egg white. Stir it well. Add three tablespoons of ammonia to this mixture and stir it well. You can add a few drops of cologne to hide the smell of ammonia. Last of all, add 1/4th cup of rubbing alcohol.

Smoothing conditioner: Soak a cup of Fenugreek seeds in water overnight and then grind it into a fine paste in the morning. If you have severely damaged hair, you can also add a handful of assorted nuts to the seeds before you blend it. Fenugreek seeds contain fatty acids that help to smooth the hair and give it a glossy sheen.

Natural Dandruff treatment: For this you need mineral oil, lanolin, and tincture of iodine. Warm half a cup of mineral oil in a small sauce pan. Pour in a one ounce tube of lanolin into the oil and mix two spoonfuls of tincture iodine. Blend well and remove from heat. Pour the mixture into a small jar.

Chick pea face pack: For this you will need fresh yogurt, finely ground chick pea flour, and rose water. Mix all three into a fine pate and apply it on your face. Wash it off after a few minutes.

Sandalwood pack: Mix sandalwood powder with rosewater and apply this on your face.

Natural Face scrub: Mix a few spoons of fresh tomato paste with a spoon of honey and a spoon of coarsely ground rice flour. Steam your face and then lightly scrub your face with this paste. You can make a small quantity and refrigerate it and use it within two to three days.

Natural Body lotion: This is one of the simplest and most effective home remedies for dry skin. Get some fresh cream and apply it all over your body before your shower. Fresh cream can help to soften your skin and will also help to prevent skin infections.
