Treating Pimples and Home Remedies for Falling Hair
Pimples are commonly seen during puberty. Improper skin hygiene and poor eating habits also result in pimples. Avoid high fat foods. Check out fresh fruits and vegetables, with whole grains and legumes. Check out a few remedies for pimples:
- Low glycemic index foods are of great help in the reduction of pimple occurrence. A paste of orange peel is applied for a few minutes.
- Mint juice is of immense help, in treatment of acne and pimples.
- A paste of fresh fenugreek leaves is applied, prior to bed. Wash with warm water, after fifteen minutes.
- Freshly pierced garlic is circled around the affected area.
- A paste of honey and cinnamon powder is applied and washed after twelve hours.

- A decoction of certain herbs such as dandelion, chamomile, marsh mallow, peppermint, borage, chamomile and calendula act as internal cleansers and keeps your skin glowing.
- Soap dries many skin types. Opt for oatmeal flour, as an alternative.
- Aloe vera is an excellent moisturizing agent, which keeps the skin supple and shining.
- Olive oil helps to get rid of dry skin.
- Wash with yoghurt and gram flour to prevent drying up of the skin.
- Adequate hydration works wonders! Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water for supple and smooth skin.
- Egg yolk and mayonnaise are highly beneficial for dry complexion.
Falling Hair Home Remedy
Hair fall is mainly due to hormonal imbalance. Oestrogen imbalance is responsible for hair loss in women, whereas testosterone is responsible for hair loss and baldness in men. Poor eating habit is yet another contributing factor. A protein rich diet, with a balance of all the nutrients is necessary. A healthy diet rich in fruits and fresh vegetables prove beneficial in the prevention of hair loss. Avoid high fat and high salt diet. Do not go in for high levels of animal protein in the diet, as it causes an increase in acidic blood, which is a major culprit for hair fall. Certain home remedies for prevention of hair fall are:
- Topical application of a decoction of sage herb is useful in the prevention of hair loss.
- Coconut milk is also highly effective in curbing hair fall, in addition to aloe vera gel. Apply gooseberry powder for good and shining hair.
- A massage with castor oil and coconut oil is effective in stimulating the circulation.
- A juice of coriander seeds is useful for good hair growth.
- Equal proportions of olive oil and honey with cinnamon powder are useful.
- A paste of egg yolk, Acacia concinna shrub powder, soap nuts and Indian gooseberry is helpful.
