Hi, my wait is 85 kg and my height is 6.4 feet. I want to know the best diet plan according to my weight. Please consider I am living in hostel. Please advice only those foods which can be easily bought from market.

In general, Food intake in hostels is poor due to psychological factors. Poor food quality is also seen in many hostels. In such cases, fruits and vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals. Do not opt for readymade processed foods, as they are laden with fat, salt and additives or preservatives. Psychological factors refer to the separation from the family and friends, educational stress and lack of friends. These factors, if any should be properly attended to. Restrict the intake of saturated fats and trans fats, as they are harmful, in course of time.

Lard, butter, mayonnaise and clarified butter are some of the commonly used saturated fats.They are allowed in minimal quantities. Replace them with unsaturated fats. It must be difficult to keep up to this point, as you are in a hostel.
Whole grains, cereals, legumes and pulses are good, as they provide complex carbohydrates and help in regulation of weight. In case of difficulty in obtaining the above said, opt for breakfast cereals. Oats, wheat flakes, corn flakes and so on are some of the healthy breakfast alternatives. Tofu or soy paneer, paneer or cottage cheese and yoghurt provide a good supply of protein, especially in vegetarians. Hard boiled eggs provide complete protein, with all the necessary amino acids. Fruits and vegetables are always available, based on the season. A fruit proves beneficial, on a daily basis. Salad vegetables, such as carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper and onion are available, at all times. Negative calorie foods are also considered. These are foods that require more calories for their digestion, rather than what they provide.
Peach, apple, oranges, strawberry, turnip, water melon, apple, cantaloupe, blue berries and cranberry are negative calorie fruits. The risk of bingeing and junk eating is high in individuals, staying in hostel. Nuts are healthy for time pass! They are calorie dense and have a high satiety value. Almonds provide calcium and cashews provide iron. Readymade soups are healthy and useful. Healthy and less calorie soups are easy to prepare at the home levels. Steamed corn kernels and sprouts are good snack time fillers. Keep yourself happy at all times, as it helps a lot to keep the individual happy!
