One of the most common disorders relating to the gall bladder is inflammation, technically known as cholecystitis, which often leads to the formation of stones in the organ. The main reason behind this problem is an abnormal change in the composition of bile. The primary symptom of this condition is severe, intermittent pain in the abdominal area, accompanied by digestive disorders such as constipation, indigestion and flatulence. The patient may also experience an uncomfortable sensation of fullness after having a meal and may feel nauseous. Other symptoms of gall bladder include occasional dizziness, anemia and intolerance to fats present in foodstuff. The main reason behind this condition is the excessive consumption of carbohydrates, sugars and saturated fats. Gastrointestinal ailments and stress are additional factors that may predispose a person to gall bladder disorders. Eating a fiber-rich diet low in fats and sugars helps prevent this condition.
