Question on peptic ulcer diet: In your "peptic ulcer diet", you suggest "Milk should be taken in moderate quantities - about 250 to 300 ml..- every hour." Can you clarify? It’s like drinking a gallon per day, it seems at odds with "moderate quantities"!

Drinking milk (cold) provides symptomatic relief. Which means it will heal your burning sensation or pain for a while after milk consumption. However do not overindulge yourself in drinking 250-300 ml milk every hour as it might even worsen your ulcer. Also remember not to consume milk alone; always have some accompaniment like a piece of cookie or cracker.
