Women's Abs Diet
The Abs diet is nothing related to the abdomen. It is a weight reducing diet and is an acronym of some of the ingredients in the diet namely almonds, beans and spinach. There are twelve foods that are referred to as 'power foods'. The Abs diet was formulated by the editor of Men's health magazine, named David Zinczenko. The abdominal muscles are well shown by the end of this diet.
The twelve power foods are almonds, beans, spinach, eggs, dairy products, instant oatmeal devoid of sugar, raspberries, peanut butter, olive oil, eggs, whey protein powder, turkey or any other lean meat and whole grain cereals or breads. A free meal is allowed on one day of the week, wherein any food is eaten in any quantity. Foods in the not allowed list are also accepted.
Foods that can be eaten regularly are melons, citrus fruits, peaches, peppers, bananas, canola oil, garlic, lentils, avocados, sweet potatoes, asparagus, shell fish and so on. Foods that are eaten occasionally arte rice, pudding chocolates, ham, lamb, veal, marmalade, pudding, French fries and so on. Certain foods are completely avoided like greasy foods, soda, vegetable oil, high sugar foods, food with high fructose corn syrup and butter.
