Three Day Weight Loss Diet

The three day diet is a weight reduction diet assuring ten pound loss in three days. Exercise is not a part of the plan and hence the lost weight is due to water. It increases the energy with minimal intake. It is a fad diet that promises to cleanse the body. The first day begins with a toast and half a grapefruit.


Half a cup of tuna with a toast and coffee is taken as lunch. Three ounces of lean meat with an apple and a cup of carrot and beans comprise the dinner. The second day begins with half a banana and a toast with an egg. A cup of tuna or cottage cheese with eight salt crackers forms the lunch. Dinner is made of half a cup each of banana, carrot and ice cream with a cup of broccoli. Two steaks of beef are allowed.

Day three begins with an apple, an ounce of cheddar cheese and five cups of coffee or tea. Five crackers are also included. A toast with a boiled egg and coffee or tea is had. Dinner comprises of a cup each of melon, tuna, carrots and cauliflower. Half a cup of ice cream is allowed. The diet is followed for three days and aids in burning the extra fat. An unusual metabolic reaction happens due to the kind of foods suggested. The issue with the three day diet is the fact that it is monotonous and falling back on the usual pattern is possible.
