Weight Loss Drinks
Makers and producers of popular weight loss shakes available in the market affirm strongly that their weight loss shakes reduce the excess in the body and thus boosts weight loss. However there has been no scientific study to prove such claims are true. Most weight loss shakes that are protein based are usually made from soy or soy based derivatives. While some other manufacturers utilize dairy products or egg products. All popularly available protein shakes do not take off the weight from any individual, they only substitute for meals. More importantly consuming too much protein can be bad for the kidneys and may also cause more harm than otherwise intended.
Occasional weight loss shakes in place of a meal is better idea than relying solely on such shakes to get rid of fat. However it is important to note that such shakes do not substitute all the nutrients found in wholesome meals or foods like vegetables and fruits.
Opt for home made shakes made with fresh fruit and low-fat skimmed milk and honey as a sweetener, if desired. Shakes made from fruits are much healthier than protein based shakes as fruits are instrumental in helping the body to get rid of toxins than commercially based weight loss shakes.
