Therefore while following a daily meal plan to lose weight it is very important to eat every 2-3 hours so that the metabolism continues burning fat deposits instead of just concentrating on the food being ingested. It is also very important to include carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and fibers in your daily diet in the right proportions so that the body gets all the  nutrients it required to function properly and this can also help you weight effectively. A sample meal plan for weight reduction could be as follows:
  • Breakfast- 3 egg whites, oatmeal and a banana
  • Snack- low fat yogurt with berries or nuts
  • Lunch- 1 cup vegetables, chicken/fish and brown rice
  • Snack- 2 rice cakes and ½ cup broccoli
  • Dinner- steamed fish, 1 cup spinach and mustard greens and yam or small potato.
