Best Vitamins For Weight Loss

There are various vitamins which are beneficial for weight reduction. You can get these vitamins from foods. Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin is required for metabolism & normal thyroid function. Almonds, milk, hard cheese, eggs, leafy green vegetables, wheat germ, liver & kidney are good sources of vitamin B2. Niacin or vitamin B3 is needed for thyroid hormone production. Chicken, tuna, liver, turkey, meat, salmon, wheat flakes, oats, mackerel, brown rice & wheat bran contain plenty of vitamin B2.

Vitamin B5 is also known as Pantothenic acid & it is essential for energy production, fat utilization & it also assists the adrenal function. Poultry, nuts, molasses, beans, barley & wholegrain bread are good sources of vitamin B5. Vitamin B6 or Pyridoxine regulates metabolism & thyroid hormone production. Brewer's yeast, sardines, beef, avocado, bananas, cabbage, dried fruits, poultry & wheat germ are good sources of vitamin B6.

Choline is essential for effective fat metabolism. It is not actually a vitamin but a member of vitamin B complex & is made in the liver. Due to a deficiency of this vitamin fat may get trapped in the liver. Good sources of choline are egg yolks, beef heart, beef liver, cucumber, cauliflower, wheat germ & peanuts.
