Diet and Exercise for Fat Loss

Fat loss diet involves the usage of a low calorie and low fat diet with high fibre. The diet envisages weight reduction and loss of fat in most of the distributed areas. A fat loss diet also involves exercise, as diet alone fails to reduce the extra pounds. A check on what you eat is important. Count the calories before commencing. Improving one's health and staying fit helps in reducing weight. Eating 4 to 5 meals is effective, provided the size of the meals is small calorifically. This helps in conserving the energy and boosting the metabolic processes, which indirectly aids in fat loss. Use low fat foods.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are more preferred, as they provide the required nutrients with fibre. Whole grains and pulses are also helpful. Processed foods are also abstained from, as they increase weight, by retention of water. Animal foods are restricted, especially red meat and egg yolk. Poultry is consumed after the removal of the skin. Fish and egg white are helpful, as the former provides a rich supply of omega 3 fatty acids. Alcoholic and carbonated beverages are avoided. Complete abstinence from fat is not required. Boiling, pressure cooking, microwave and steaming ate the preferred methods of cooking.
