Weight lifting training or simply weight training is performed along with diet to lose body fat. One of the main things which you can do in weight training is lifting weights. Experts believe that along with diet and cardio exercises weight lifting exercises have an upper hand when it comes to losing excess weight or fat from the body. Weight lifting training can be helpful to you in many different ways like it would help to raise your body metabolism, will help to build muscles and burn fat, it will help to strengthen the bones which is an important aspect especially for the women, it will prevent any muscular injuries, increase the muscular endurance and make the muscles stronger, improve balance, coordination, confidence and self-esteem. In short weight lifting or weight training will help you to look and feel better.


You can start weight lifting training by keeping in mind certain important principles of weight training to avoid any injuries. You can start a program by setting a realistic goal. Start with a 5-10 minutes warm up that can be a simple walk or stretching exercises. Then start with weight lifting gradually by increasing weights and repetitions per session. It is important to rest the muscle for a day which is been worked out. Weight lifting training when done on regular basis along with a healthy diet would ensure effective weight loss.
