Exercise For Weight Loss

Exercise will definitely be a great stepping stone along with a healthy low calorie diet in losing weight. I am glad to hear that you are interested in this bright approach for losing weight. Before starting any exercise regime it would be prudent to consult a specialist to check which exercise suits your health, if you have certain health problems like backache or high blood pressure then do let him know so that you get a correct guidance. Next thing is to sit and plan for a particular exercise and make realistic goals. Exercise will not only make you feel lighter and physically fit but also will help to burn the body fat. Before starting any exercise it is important to do a 10 minutes warm up to start off with then gradually increase the duration and intensity of the activity over a period of time. If you start a 45 minutes jog on the 1st day of your exercise you would definitely spend your next day in bed with sore muscles. So be patient and increase thee duration and activity over a period of time. On the first day walk for 15 minutes twice in a day, then after 4-5 days increase the intensity and walk for 20 minutes twice daily. Increase the time at a stretch to 45 minutes of brisk walk in similar manner. It is important to do it at a stretch because our fat burning starts only after the 21st minute of an activity, for the first 20 minutes you lose carbohydrates and if you stop there then your carbohydrate stores would be depleted. In this stare when you reach home you would feel famished and start binging on any snack which comes in your way forgetting the portion size. End any activity with a cool down exercise for 5-10 minutes and then relax.
