Gall Stone natural treatment

Could I use olive oil and lemon with my salad if I have a Gall Stone?

Diet and Treatment for Gall Stone

Olive oil and flaxseed oil are recommended for individuals with gall stone, but in restricted amounts. Lemon is also considered safe and is used with vinegar and olive oil as dressing for salads. Accumulation and crystallization of bile components result in formation of gall stones. To throw light on other foods to be included, they are chicken and turkey devoid of the skin, red meat without fat and white fish such as haddock, cod, tuna, shellfish and salmon.

Foods that are steamed, pressure cooked, baked and boiled are preferred. Butter, vegetable oil and margarine are avoided. Low fat milk and related products are used, though fruit crumbles and pies, ice cream and gateaux are not preferred. Coconuts, chocolates and toffees are also abstained from. Alcoholic and caffeinated beverages are avoided. Fried foods are completely avoided, as they are a rich source of saturated fats and Trans fats. Garlic, beets, brinjal, cucumber and so on are helpful. Fruits, such as tomatoes, papaya, berries, pears, grapes and apples are considered.

Gall stones are removed surgically through cholecystectomy. This is done as two procedures, namely, laparascopic cholesystectomy and open cholecystectomy. A particular home remedy for gall stone removal is by the intake of apple juice and apples with magnesium supplements and grape fruit juice.
