Natural treatment for weight gain

My weight is 50kg & height is 5' 9''. Please help me to increase my weight. Though after joining gym I gained 3 kg that's all.

Dietary Advice to Gain Weight

Weight of an individual is determined by the genetic factor. You are underweight and a good dietary regimen and exercise help to a great extent in modifying the same. Weight lifting, barbell rows, parallel dips and dumb bells are helpful in muscle gain. Increasing the intake helps in calorie increase and weight gain. If you are already working out in the gym, it should have some effect. You have not mentioned the duration of your visiting a gym. Refer to your physical trainer or nutritionist in the gym regarding this.

Cardiovascular exercise and resistance training exercise are recommended for enhancement of physique. Increasing the protein and carbohydrate in the diet with exercise in the gym helps in easy muscle mass gain. About 0.7 to 0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight, on a daily basis. Hydrogenated and Trans fats are not recommended. Opt for olive oil, peanut butter and avocados for fat contribution.

Nuts and dried fruits, such as almonds and cashew nuts are helpful. Milkshakes, yoghurt, cheese sticks and muffins are recommended. If you are a non vegetarian, eat more of chicken, fish and meat and less of cereals. Eat eggs, along with vegetables and fruits. Fried and processed foods are better avoided.
