Advice on belly reduction

In order to determine the right weight for a person, age is not the only factor that needs to be taken into consideration. It is best to consult a fitness expert, who will assess your height, body type, age, gender, and BMI, before letting you know what your right body weight should be.  A big belly is often caused by the deposit of an excessive amount of fat in the abdominal region. Belly fat reduction at a younger age has many advantages, as it can prevent the possibility of several health disorders as you grow older. Therefore, in order to meet your belly reduction goals, it is important to follow a two way approach.

Belly fat reduction diet

Crash diets and fad diets often tempt us by offering immediate results.

However, crash diets often do not really help in belly reduction and the results are generally temporary. Research on the effectiveness of crash diets show that people who follow a crash diet are most likely to regain the lost pounds and even put on additional weight after that. A healthy belly fat reduction diet would be a diet that consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, poultry, dairy products, pulses, and grains. It is important to limit your serving size and calorie counting can be very helpful in determining the foods you should eat for belly reduction. Your consumption of junk foods and sweets should be drastically reduced.  How your food is cooked also plays an important role in weight loss or gain. For example, Fish that has been steamed or grilled is much healthier than fried fish. The same rule applies to vegetables, meats and poultry. Skipping meals is the wrong approach to weight loss. Instead, you should eat smaller meals throughout the day, but reduce the amount you eat for each meal. Increase your consumption of foods like oatmeal, almonds, nuts, berries, eggs, beans, fish, whole grains and green vegetables, and slowly eliminate other unhealthy foods from your diet.

Belly reduction exercises

The best way to lose weight on your tummy is by doing abdominal crunches and other belly reduction exercises. In order to do crunches, lie down on a flat surface, with your knees bent and your palms placed behind your head. Lift your torso off the ground and then let it fall back gently. Repeat this ten times in the beginning. Gradually increase the number of sets you do. Another exercise that is very effective is the bicycle, where you need to lie down on your back, with one leg raised around 10 inches off the floor. Place your hands behind your head and turn the opposite elbow, towards the bent knee. Hold the position for a few seconds, and then change the position, using the other arm and leg, to imitate the action of riding a bicycle. Make sure that your back is not arched. In the beginning, you should perform these exercises under the supervision of a gym instructor.

It is possible to lose weight on your own, just by eating the right foods and getting an adequate amount of exercise each day. However, several young people get too caught up in the weight loss process and tend to go too far. This can lead to the development of eating disorders. Therefore, it is best to consult a proper fitness expert, before you begin your endeavor.

 Exercise for Big Belly

Do not panic! Have you ever spoken to your physician regarding this? You have failed to provide information regarding your height. Height and weight are essential for determining the ideal body weight. If you are free of any complications, there is nothing to worry. Abdomen crunches with cardiovascular exercises prove useful. Abdomen crunches are performed by placing the palms behind the head. Bend your knees and lie down flat. Lift your torso. Do these 10 times and gradually increase.

The bicycle exercise is also effective. Lie down and place fingers behind head. Fold the knees to the chest. Lift your shoulders. Bring the left elbow to the right knee and extend a leg to 45 degree. Change sides and increase gradually. The Captain's chair is yet another abdomen tucking exercise. Stand on a chair and hold the arm rest. Press the back and tuck in the abdomen. Lift your knees towards the chest and breathe smoothly. Repeat this for about 15 times. Vertical leg crunch is also effective in reducing the stomach. Lie down and lift your legs in a crossed fashion. Lift your shoulders, by contracting the abdomen. Lower and repeat. Visit a physician for further recommendation.
