Hair Fall Remedies

Hair loss is common in any age group. The various contributing factors for hair loss are heredity, stress, improper hair care, lifestyle modification and a poor diet. A balanced and healthy diet goes a long way in protecting an individual from hair loss. Stimulating the scalp helps in increasing circulation. This is especially done by massage. Soybean, sesame and almond oil are helpful. Aloe vera gel is useful in balancing the pH levels, thereby helping in preventing hair loss.

An extract of nettle root proves beneficial, as they are a good source of vitamins A and C. A massage with jojoba oil is useful in case of dandruff and seborrhea of the scalp. Disease of the prostate in men is associated with hair loss. Fighting against the disease helps in overcoming the same. Deficiency of nutrients, under eating and fasting results in hair loss.

Lack of protein in the diet causes loss of hair. Deficiency of zinc results in poor or suppressed appetite, thereby leading to an imbalance in the diet. Exposure to toxic metals also seems to be a cause. Cellular debris in the hair follicles is seen to occur in case of vitamin A deficiency. Hindrance of blood circulation, due to decreased supply of oxygen and other nutrients is due to insufficiency in B complex vitamins. Deficiency of biotin results in dandruff and excessive oiliness of the scalp. Visit a hair specialist or dermatologist for further guidance.
