Diet for Weight Gain

Hi! I really wish you had provided me with more information about yourself, such as your age, weight, height, gender, activity levels and diet pattern. This will help me in providing a personalized help. Nevertheless, there are certain guidelines that remain constant. Take care to choose the apt foods in gaining weight, as a slight mistake might result in other complications. For example foods such as fish, flaxseed and soy contain omega 3 fatty acids, which are considered healthy. Fried foods and certain desserts comprise of Trans fats and other saturated fats.

Protein intake helps in muscle formation. Green leafy vegetables provide phyto nutrients, whereas tubers and other root vegetables provide starch. Snacking on nuts and dried fruits is a good idea, as they provide heavy calories, thereby helping in weight gain. Increase your caloric intake by increasing the frequency of meals. Energy drinks, milk shakes, fresh fruit juice and milk with high energy powders proves beneficial. Meat and fish should be preferred over bread and dairy products. Pull ups, bar dips, barbell rows and bench presses are some exercises that help in improving muscles.
